  We had a wonderful birthday party in Dylan's. The food was delicious - I would especially recommend the seafood linguine. The staff were friendly and attentive. I loved the interior design and the views were stunning!

  Unfortunately this was the worst culinary experience we have ever had. To be fair, there were some positive aspects, these being the building, and the view from our table, the waiting on staff were also very friendly. However, that's where it ends.
  
  The mussels that I chose were the worst I have ever been served, half of them were unopened and the majority of the rest were inedible. The waitress explained that they had had many complaints about them, and they were not checked prior to leaving the kitchens. I was provided with the usual lemon water to rinse my fingers, however only a small paper napkin was supplied.My partner chose the scallops, they were cold on arrival at the table, she was too polite to complain.
  
  I ordered a medium rare steak, upon arrival at the table the steak was well done, when this was pointed out, the waitress apologised and returned it to the kitchen, Upon its return, to my astonishment, the same piece of steak had now taken on the persona of a charred piece of rubber, the chefs response to making a well done steak into a medium rare steak was to cook it more and return to the table!! Astounding. My partner was left to continue eating her main course whilst I sat awaiting their response, a special evening ruined.
  
  I am not one normally taken to writing reviews. However, given that Dylans places itself at the higher end of the restaurant experience, the management must realise that people expect a far higher standard of service, this includes covering the finer details, and dealing with their errors in a manner more befitting their aspirations.

  Second time I've eaten here. I want to work my way through the delicious menu. Great food, fabulous service. Love the shabby chic decor. Vibrant ambience. It's not cheap but it's good quality and plentiful. Definitely worth a visit.

  Overall poor experience, due to a let down on the quality of the food, and sub standard yet over priced cocktails.
  
  Don't try the mussels over priced and very poor quality.
  
  Although we were offered a replacement dish after raising the issue, we had to wait over 40 mins for the main.
  
  Unfortunately after an excessive wait, we ended up asking for a refund.
  
  I would give it zero star, but Google is far too generous.
  
  Apparently a lot to live up to the Menai bridge restaurant
  
  However on reflection good customer service

  Very disappointing experience as I have been to the Menai Bridge restaurant in the past and had a very good meal. Sadly this one just did not meet the same standards. The mussels were so gritty and shrivelled that they were inedible - having had mussels in the Menai Bridge restaurant in the past I did not expect them to be so poor. Apparently there is a way of reducing the grit in them so I'd suggest they give that a try in future. The staff were friendly and offered a replacement meal but it was too late by then, I felt sick from the grit, so I just had a refund. The drinks were over priced but I did like the cocktail that I had. Overall it was a poor meal, so we probably won't return to that particular restaurant unless it improves significantly.
